Rash investing is one of the most profitable methods, but also one of the most time-pressured. Cards can rise and crash very quickly, so it can be a very good money-maker if you sell at the right time.
Rash Investing is when you buy cards needed for or that link to new cards/SBCs released in FUT. The main time you can Rash Invest is at 6pm UK time when new content comes out. This can include a daily/generic SBC that has some limitation on cards you can use; Marquee Matchups, where certain leagues/clubs/nations are needed; when a player Objective comes out and certain players need to be used to fulfill requirements; when a new promo is released and gold card go out of packs or when a new player SBC or Objective is released and cards that link to that player rise as people try to fit him into their team.
Example 1
A Generic SBC was released called Newcomer’s Challenge on 11th October which had the following requirements:
The requirement of 2 silver players and the only available positions being the Strikers, CBs and GK meant that Silver Italian and Serie A CBs and Strikers rose very quickly because they fit the criteria. Below is how they rose — all bought at under 900 FUT coins and sold for 1900 FUT coins. They were bought between 18:00–18:06 and all sold between 18:11–18:13.
Example 2
Another Generic SBC was released called Bale is Back on the 12th, October which had the following requirements:
The requirement of 1 Welsh player and a minimum quality of silver players meant that silver and gold Welsh players rose very quickly because one was 100% needed to meet the requirements. These cards were bought as shown for under 950 FUT coins at 18:00–18:04 and sold for between 2.7k and 3.5k at 18:16–18:20.
Example 3
With the new MLS milestone requiring 7 MLS players in your squad, Ike Opara’s Rulebreaker card, given he is the best defender in the league, rose from 25k to 75k in 10 minutes as people wanted to get him in their teams, not only as a link to the new cards but also in the squad they use to complete the Milestone. You can see below, he rose 50k in 5 minutes, a 46k PAT.
From these examples, you can see how many different things cause cards to rise whether it be a new SBC, objective, or promo release. Cards can rise extremely quickly and extremely high, but they also fall really quickly, so knowing when to get out is very important. The key thing I’ve learned is to be happy with profit, even if you get out early or late, you still make FUT coins, and if you don’t make FUT coins, then there are still many other ways you can make them back. The good thing about rash investing is that the majority of the time, the cards are low budget and so possible losses are really small.
